The Class of 2012 would like to invite everyone to The Senior v Faculty Basketball Game & Slam Dunk Contest on Wednesday, May 16th at 3:00 in the main gym.  Entrance fee is $3.00.  Proceeds from this event will go to pay for the Senior Class Gift to GMHS...trophy cases to be placed near the main gym.  Please come out and support this event!

 

The Class of 2012 Officers would like to bring back the tradition of a Senior Class Picnic.  The class picnic is to be held on June 1st, after graduation practice, approximately 4:30.  Location TBD.  If you'd like donate money to help sponsor the event, checks may be payable to GMHS C/O 2012 and given to Mrs. Norris in room 125.  Online donations may be made as well.  We are still looking for parent volunteers to help with the event. Applications for GMHS on-campus NovaNET Summer School are now available in the front office.  Submitting an application does not guarantee a seat in Summer School.  You will be notified if you are enrolled after all applications have been considered and evaluated based upon enrollment criteria. Classes will begin July 5, 2012 and end August 3, 2012. Classes will be held Mon. through Fri.  Transportation will NOT be provided.  The application is due to the front office by May 25, 2012 @ 4:00 PM.

NCVPS online courses are free of charge and students must have computer and internet access at home or have easy access to a computer on a daily basis. Classes will begin June 11, 2012 and end August 3, 2012.  Particular courses will require a state mandated EOC or VOCAT examination to be taken on-site at GMHS on August 2nd and/or 3rd.  Enrollment in a preferred course in not guaranteed.  Application packets are available in the main office, but you must register by meeting with your individual counselor by June 6, 2012.
