Anyone wishing to appeal a FF grade(forced failure due to absences) on his or her report card must fill out the appropriate form. Click HERE for the form. To be considered for an appeal, follow the instructions on the form and return it to school with the required documentation no later than Friday, February 3, 2012.

 

First semester report cards will be sent home Friday, January 27. 

 

Students who wish to participate in the Rotary Against Drugs Speech contest should see Mrs. Cottengim in room 116 for more information.  The school competition is Feb. 22nd after-school.  The top 3 will be sent to the Garner Mid-day Rotary meeting on Feb. 28th to compete at 12:30.  The prizes will be 1st - $200, 2nd - $100, and 3rd - $50.  The winner will go to the district meeting on Sunday, Feb. 4th to compete on behalf of the Garner Mid-day Rotary.  There are cash prizes for those winners as well.  This competition is open to students grades 9-12.

 

Help support the GMHS Chorus! You can send a singing telegram and a carnation to your friend, teacher, boyfriend, or girlfriend on Tuesday, February 14th for $3.00. Singing Valentines will be delivered during 2nd and 4th blocks on February 14th. You will need to know the 2nd and 4th block teacher and room number of the recipient when you purchase your valentine. Tickets will be on sale in the front lobby during all 3 lunches and before school from Monday, February 6th to Friday, February 10th. You may also purchase a valentine from chorus students.
