IB Middle Years Programme

The Middle Years Programme is designed for students ages 11-16 (grades 6-10). Students in the MYP take course in the eight subject areas of Language A (English), Language B (French or Spanish), math, humanities, science, technology, health/PE, and fine arts in each year of the program. Students in the MYP make connections between subjects and are encouraged to ask "how" and "why" about what they are learning. The MYP is international; therefore, students understand the global relevance of education. The program teaches students to accept differences in opinions and to become critical and reflective thinkers.
