I’m Brandon, and here’s what’s grinding my gears today.

Cancer, cancer really grinds my gears, especially kids with cancer.

You may remember last year when Mr. Boyette shaved his head, you may not remember why.  Let me fill you in.  Mr. B raised money for Kid’s Cancer Research by shaving his head as a part of St. Baldrick’s Day.

St. Baldrick's is the world's largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research. Thousands of volunteers shave their heads in solidarity of children with cancer, while requesting donations of support from friends and family.

Last year thanks to you, Mr. B was able to donate over $200 toward the cause.  This year I think we can definitely match that goal and hopefully raise more.

So I urge you to find Mr. B all next week and donate whatever you can to Cancer Research.

Quarters, nickels, dimes, and yes pennies, will gladly be accepted as well as big bills.

 

TSA meeting has been cancelled. TSA will NOT meet this afternoon. Instead, TSA will meet twice next week on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 to 4:00ish in room 313. We will be working on competition projects. Please bring all project materials.

Attention all Dancers:  Auditions for upper level dance classes will be held on March 10 from 3-5pm in the Dance Studio Room V1102.  If you would like to be placed in Modern II, Modern III, or the Advanced Year Long Modern Dance Class you must attend this audition.  Spots are limited.  Please see Mrs. Penuel with questions.

Attention all Athletes: A new course has been designed for athletes that are pursuing a career in sports after high school.  This class is called Agility and Flexibility for Male Athletes and will focus on balance, core strength, flexibility, and coordination.  If you are interested please sign up for this course during registration.  For more details about this course please see Mrs. Penuel.
